Meet Camille Whalen, a former high school teacher turned entrepreneur. Currently serving as the AOII Chapter Advisor at UGA, Camille is passionate about providing Athens area families with a diverse range of sitter options through her venture, Classic City Sitters. Whether you need a sitter for some much-needed mommy time, a relaxing date night, or to enjoy a game day in Athens, Camille ensures seamless scheduling directly through Classic City Sitters.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Camille treasures time with her husband, Cole, and their three children, Finn, Whit, and Lettie. Together, they enjoy cheering on the UGA Bulldogs, spending time on the golf course, and relaxing on the beaches of St. Simons Island. Deeply rooted in the Athens community, they are members of Athens First United Methodist Church and Athens Country Club, and take great joy in supporting ESP (Extra Special People) throughout the year.

Marketing Manager

Meet Emily-Claire Sherman, a senior at the University of Georgia studying Digital Marketing and Music Business. She recently launched ECollective, a boutique marketing services company, where she helps brands bring their ideas to life. She works as the Marketing Manager for Classic City Sitters, combining creativity with strategy. With eight years of babysitting experience, including two summers in St. Simons caring for kids of all ages, she’s also a longtime sitter for Classic City Sitters.

Outside of work, Emily-Claire loves playing guitar and writing songs, and she hopes to work in music marketing after graduation. Originally from Atlanta, she enjoys spending time with her family—especially her nephews. In the summer, you’ll find her at the beach, and any chance she gets, she’s off to Disney World!
